Water Shrews is the new duo of Emmet Martin (Bud Tapes, World Record Winner) and Skyler Pia (Oranj Discs). On their self-titled debut tape, two 25-minute pieces meander and drift, but not aimlessly. The shrews never tread the same ground twice, pushing onward and upward, digging deeper down. Tasters of folk, noise, and drone mix and mash but never settle.
